The 150-guest Viking Europe does river cruises year-round in Europe. All of the staterooms onboard this vessel have an ocean view, private bathroom (with a shower), air conditioning, hair dryer, safe, TV and telephone. Onboard amenities found in her three decks include a bar, restaurant, internet access, sun deck and library. Viking Europe is the sister ship of the Viking Neptune, Viking Pride and Viking Spirit.

The dress onboard a Viking River cruise is casual. Dinner attire is called "evening casual," which means open-neck shirts, slacks, dresses and sport outfits. Captain's Welcome and Farewell Nights are dressy, but not formal.

Viking River Cruises isn't very family-friendly. In fact, they don't have any children's facilities or programs in place, and actually do not allow children under 12 years of age to cruise with them. Furthermore, they reserve the right to restrict the number of minors under the age of 18 that sail onboad their ships.
