Seven Seas Voyager was the second all-suite, all-balcony cruise ship in the world (after her sister ship, the Seven Seas Mariner). Like her sister ship, she also features a restaurant operated by Le Cordon Bleu of Paris. With four main dining rooms that all have an open-seating setup, the luxurious Seven Seas Voyager offers a casual (yet upscale) atmosphere.
Gratuities, soft drinks, hot beverages and most alcoholic beverages are included in the cruise fare, so that in combination with Regent's very casual onboard atmosphere creates an almost carefree luxury cruising product. Seven Seas Voyager is the younger sister ship of the Seven Seas Mariner. In 2009, both ships received a thorough $40 million refurbishment. Among the upgrades received by both ships during this process was the addition of Prime 7 (a contemporary American steakhouse), re-designed lounges, an extended coffee and snack bar area (only on Seven Seas Voyager, since Seven Seas Mariner already has Coffee Connection) and updates to the spa and fitness center. Other upgrades done include the replacing of upholstery, carpeting, wallpaper, light fixtures and drapes in most suites, as well as new furniture and carpeting in many public areas

All of Seven Seas Voyager's accommodations are spacious suites, each with a private balcony of its own. All suites have marble-appointed private bathrooms (with a full tub or walk-in shower), European king-size beds (that can be converted into two twin beds), luxury European linens, a separate living room and bedroom, a walk-in closet with safe, luxury European robes, cotton slippers, telephone, hair dryer, an interactive flat screen TV with large media selection, and a refrigerator that's refilled daily with soft drinks, beer and bottled water. Category B suites and above will also have an in-suite bar setup upon embarkation and Butler service.
Deluxe Suites: The most basic suites onboard Seven Seas Voyager are her Deluxe Suites. These suites are all the same size (356 square feet in total), but are differentiated based on their onboard locations. Category H suites are located on deck six, G's are on decks six and seven, F's are located on decks seven and eight, E's are located on decks eight and nine, and D's are on decks seven, nine and ten. The room size of each Deluxe Suite is 306 square feet, while the balcony is 50 square feet in size.
Horizon View Suites: A (category C) Horizon View Suite, located on decks six through ten, is about 386 square feet in total size (the room is 306 square feet, while the balcony is 115 to 198 square feet, depending on the particular suite).
All of the following suites have Butler service and an in-suite bar setup (as previously mentioned):
Penthouse Suites: There are two categories of Penthouse Suites onboard Seven Seas Voyager (B and A). They are all the same size, at 370 square feet in total (the rooms are 320 square feet, while the balconies are 50 square feet). Category B's (located on decks six through eight) are typically less expensive than the A's (which are on decks nine and ten).
Seven Seas Suites: Such as suite is either a category SSA or SSF. SSA suites are located aft (towards the rear of the ship) and are around 656 square feet (the room is 441 square feet, and the balcony is 240 to 331 square feet, depending on the particular suite). SSF suites are located forward (towards the front of the ship) and are 545 square feet (495 square foot room, with a 50 square foot balcony). Such suites are located on decks six through ten.
Voyager Suites: Such a suite (category VS) is 604 square feet (the room is 554 square feet and the balcony is 50 square feet), and is located on decks seven, eight, nine and ten.
Grand Suites: Category GS suites are 876 square feet (the room is 753 square feet and the balcony is 123 square feet), are located on decks nine, ten and eleven. There are four of these suites onboard Seven Seas Voyager.
Master Suites: The most premium accommodations onboard Seven Seas Voyager are her four (category MS) Master Suites, which each have two bedrooms. Two of these suites are located forward on deck seven and are 1,335 square feet in size each (the rooms are 1,152 square feet each, and their balconies are 183 square feet each). The other two MS suites are located on deck eleven and are 1,335 square feet each (the rooms are 1,152 square feet each, while the balconies are 183 square feet each).
The gourmet cuisine onboard all Regent Seven Seas cruise ships is definitely present onboard the Seven Seas Mariner. There's an open-seating format on this ship, meaning that you can eat where you want, when you want and with whomever you want. This ship has four open-seating main restaurants. Select house wines and bar drinks are included in the cruise fare, so that's a major plus.
Compass Rose Restaurant is Seven Seas Voyager's main restaurant, serving fine continental cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's the largest restaurant onboard (located on deck four) and has its tables arranged so that all guests have a picture window. Aside from the continental specialties available on its gourmet menu, there is also vegetarian and spa cuisine available. Examples of main courses served there are pan-fried whole Dover Sole, braised chicken in red wine sauce, and grilled fillet steak of Black Angus beef.
Signatures Restaurant is an authentic French restaurant inspired by Le Cordon Bleu of Paris. This venue is available for dinner only, and reservations are required. Unlike the rest of the ship, there is a dress code that requires men wear jackets in this restaurant.
Latitudes features savory Indochine and Vietnamese specialties, using French techniques, in an intimate atmosphere. Food is served family-style at this venue. This venue is also only open for dinner, by reservation only. Examples of main courses served at this restaurant are lobster and oven baked rack of lamb.
La Veranda serves wonderful breakfast and lunch buffets in a casual atmosphere. For dinner this venue features a nice mix of regional specialties. Examples of entrees served at this restaurant are grill rib eye steak of Black Angus, grilled lamb chops, and grilled lobster tail.
Don't forget that 24 hour room service is available for all passengers. During normal dining hours, you can order from the chef's nightly menu and eat their food in your suite. There are a few items on the menu that you can order at an additional cost, such as premium wines. Another nice feature onboard each Regent cruise is that High Tea is served each afternoon (in the Horizon Lounge), along with fresh scones and other snacks.
One of the highest space ratios at sea gives guests sailing onboard Seven Seas Voyager an excellent onboard atmosphere. Besides the spacious surroundings, there's a wide range of things to do while onboard this ship, from watching entertaining shows to participating in various enrichment programs and activities.
Seven Seas Voyager's onboard enrichment program is wonderful, featuring a wide variety of lecturers, classes and workshops. Select sailings feature a complimentary program, called "Spotlights," featuring guest experts that provide interesting lectures. Regent also features exclusive Le Cordon Bleu Workshops on select sailings, providing a hands-on experience taught by chefs trained in the Le Cordon Bleu method of classic French cooking. Audrey Grant's Better Bridge instructors are available on many voyages, presenting up-to-date programs for players of all experience levels.
The Constellation Theater is a beautiful two-story show lounge, featuring a nine-piece orchestra playing concert-quality music. A nice variety of shows will be performed at this venue during each of Seven Seas Voyager's cruises, which may include cabaret revues, ballroom dancing and feature productions. The casino (located on deck four, featuring a nice selection of gaming tables and slot machines) is another popular place to be while onboard Seven Seas Voyager, especially during the evening (after a show ends in the lounge).
There are a few lounges and nightclubs onboard this ship as well, some of which feature late-night dancing and karaoke. The Voyager Lounge, located near Compass Rose (on deck four), is a great spot for a pre-dinner cocktail. There is usually live piano music playing at this venue. On deck five you'll find the Horizon Lounge, which has a dance floor in the shape of a three-quarter moon. The Connoisseur Club, located on deck four, is a cigar bar that has English club chairs and a climate-controlled humidor. The Observation Lounge is located on deck eleven, and features a grand piano and great views of the ship's surroundings. Sometimes a small musical performance will take place in this area.
Carita of Paris is an award-winning spa onboard Seven Seas Voyager. Treatments available onboard include Pro-Lift skin care therapies, Renovateur exfoliating process, massage, thalassotherapy, reflexology, aroma therapy, body wraps, facials and beauty treatments. There is also a fitness center onboard, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, free weights and various exercise classes. Aside from the activities available in the fitness center, other sport-related onboard activities include golf cages, shuffleboard, paddle-tennis and a jogging track. There's also a teak pool deck that includes a large heated pool and two whirlpools.
Club.com is located on deck five and is where you can access e-mail and the internet (for a fee) on one of the ship's computers. Printers are available there as well. WiFi (wireless internet) access is available throughout the ship, also for a fee. There will be complimentary computer classes given throughout your cruise, on a wide range of topics (such as digital photography).
Other onboard features include art auctions during the cruise, a library (with a nice selection of books available to borrow), a photo shop, and duty-free boutiques.
Onboard laundry and dry cleaning services are available at a charge, but there are also self-serve laundries on decks six through ten. Guests whose accommodations have Butler service get complimentary pressing of any items that are worn during the first evening onboard.
In the case that any guests need medical attention while onboard, there is a medical center onboard Seven Seas Voyager that is staffed by a doctor and nurse. Please be aware that you'll be charged by RSSC for any medical attention you may require while onboard, which is why traveler's insurance is highly recommended for a travelers.
The Regent Travel Concierge is available to arrange special shore excursions, personalized to your interests and desires. The concierge is also able to make special pre- and/or post-cruise programs for you.
Evenings onboard a Regent Seven Seas cruise are elegant, yet not formal. Regent recommends their guests dress "Country Club Casual" or in resort wear during the evenings. For men, this means slacks and a button-down shirt. No ties are required, although some men may wear a blazer and tie on the evenings of the Captain's Welcome Reception and Farewell Dinner (both of which are called "Informal" nights). Women should wear pantsuits or informal cocktail attire. Jeans, shorts and t-shirts are not appropriate for evening wear while onboard.
Club Mariner Youth Program is a complimentary program that is for travelers ages 5 through 17. The program is broken up into three age-based groups (5-8, 9-12 and 13-17) and is supervised by an experienced staff of youth counselors. This program operates on select sailings during the summer and on holiday sailings.
Regent's policy regarding children isn't the most family-friendly one around. In fact, in their terms and conditions they state that "RSSC is unable to accommodate children under one year of age and reserves the right to restrict the number of those under three years of age."
All gratuities are included for the onboard staff in the cruise fare charged by Regent.
