Overview

Ketchikan, known as the "Salmon Capital of the World," is the fifth most populous city in Alaska. This rainy city is located on Revillagigedo Island along Alaska's Inside Passage, which makes it a very popular cruise port among cruise lines featuring Alaska cruises. Aside from its salmon, Ketchikan is very well known for its huge collection of totem poles (the largest in the world). Popular activities include shopping, fishing, as well as visiting museums and national parks.
