Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced today that the Studio staterooms that will be available aboard Norwegian Epic, their upcoming "mega-ship," will be designed and priced for solo travelers. These accommodations are set to start at $799 per person and, because of the fact that they with designed with solo travelers in mind, will not have a single supplement charge (which is an upcharge that's typically charged to singles by most cruise lines).
NCL's Studios are set to go on sale Monday, January, 18, 2010.
There will be 128 Studios on Norwegian Epic, and all guests staying in them will get private key-card access to the Studio Lounge, a special complex just for such guests. Each Studio stateroom will be around 100 square feet in size, with a contemporary design and full-size bed. There will be a separate area for bathroom, sink and shower in each Studio. Many of the Studios will be connecting, which will enable friends traveling together to get rooms next to each other that have private doorways between them, while maintaining their privacy when they want it.
When she debuts this coming summer, Norwegian Epic will be the largest and most innovative cruise ship ever in NCL's fleet. Among her features are a real ice bar, performances by the popular Blue Man Group, and a huge Aqua Park. Check out our Norwegian Epic page for more information on this upcoming cruise ship. |
