Celebrity Introduces Unlimited Beer & Liquor Packages |

Celebrity Cruises has announced that they are going to start offering a variety of beverage packages on their cruises, from water and soda to beer, wine and hard liquor, there's sure to be a package that you're at least interested in learning about. These packages must be pre-reserved at least four days prior to the departure of your cruise. Beverage  Packages may be able to be purchased onboard by going to the ship's Guest Relations desk. In order to get a drink all you have to go is provide your SeaPass Card at any bar, lounge or restaurant to prove your participation. Guests that purchase these packages may only order one drink at a time.The beverage packages currently being offered by Celebrity Cruises are as follows: ♦ Bottled Water Package: A selection of both still and sparkling bottled water, including Evian® and Pellegrino®. This package starts at $13.50 per night. ♦ Fountain Soda Package: Includes unlimited refills of Coca-Cola® products (such as Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Seagram's Tonic Water, and Canada Dry club soda) by using a souvenir cup that will be waiting for you in your stateroom upon embarkation. This package starts at $5.75 per night. ♦ Beer Package: Both domestic and imported beers are included in this package. Examples of beer included are Coors Light, Miller Lite, Becks, Heineken, Amstel Light, Corona, Samuel Adams, Dos Equis, Grolsch Swing Top, Carlsberg, Buckler, Hoegarden, Guiness, Bodington's, Leffe and Stella Artois. You must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this package, which starts at $34.50 per night. ♦ Liquor Package: There are two versions of this package, and they are as follows: » Classic Liquor Package: Enjoy brands including Johnny Walker Red, Dewar's White Label, J&B, Cutty Sark, Canadian Club, Seagram's VO, Seagram's 7, Jameson, Jim Beam, Jack Daniel's, Courvoisier VS, Carlos 1, Metaxa 5 Star Classic, Hennessy VS, Beefeater, Tanqueray, Absolut, Smirnoff, Stolichnaya, Three Olives, Van Gogh, Bacardi Light, Bacardi O, Bacardi Big Apple, Bacardi Raz, Malibu, Captain Morgan Original Spiced, Pepe Lopez, Jose Cuervo, Disaronno Amaretto, Bailey's Irish Cream, Frangelico, Drambuie, Sambuca and Kahlua. You must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this package, which starts at $51.50 per night. » Premium Liquor Package: Includes premium spirits such as Johnny Walker Black, Glenfiddich Pure Malt, Dewar's 12 year old, Chivas Regal, Glenlivet, Crown Royal, Tangle Ridge, Old Black Bush, Midleton Very Rare, Knob, Creek, Blanton's Single Barrel, Remy Martin VSOP, Courvoisier VSOP, Hennessy VSOP, Cles des Ducs XO, Bombay Sapphire, Ketel One, Effen, Level, Belvedere, Grey Goose, Pyrat XO Reserve, Montecristo, Bacardi 8, Patron Silver, Patron Anejo, Patron Gold, Extase XO and Grand Marnier. You must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this package, which starts at $76 per night. ♦ Taste of the Vineyards Package: There are two versions of this package, which are as follows: » The Sommelier's Package: Features international selections including Sparkling Wines (Prosecco, Fantinel), White Wines (Riesling, Essence SA Prum Germany; Chardonnay, Wente, Riva Ranch, Livermore Valley; Gruner Veltliner Strasslertaler, Austria; Pinot Grigio, Bertani, Italy; Fume Blanc, Murphy Goode, Sonoma), Rose Wines (Jean Luc Colombo), and Red Wines (Pinot Noir, Mark West Sonoma; Zinfandel, Renwood Red Label Merlot, Calina, Chile; Tempranillo, Condesa de Leganza, Spain; Cabernet Sauvignon, Hayes Ranch, Livermore Valley). Included are Frozen Margaritas, Frozen Daiquiris, Frozen Pina Coladas. This package starts at $22 per night, and is only for guests that are at least 21 years of age. ♦ Stateroom Bar Setup: This allows you to enjoy your favorite bottle of spirits within your stateroom, complete with mixers and a bucket of ice. Participants receive a set of Riedel stemware to take or ship home. Starts at $87 per package, and is only for guests that are at least 21 years of age. All beverage package prices listed above include a 15% service charge, and are in USD. Packages may not be shared by guests. Availability of beverages packages varies by ship. For guests that are concerned about the potential overindulgence by other guests purchasing some of these packages, Celebrity Cruises has stated the following on their web site: "Our bartenders and waiters abide by our company's ServSafe program, which teaches our staff how to serve alcohol responsibly. Our bartenders and waiters will watch for over consumption. Even if a guest purchases a beverage package, if over consumption is suspected, bartenders and waiters will take appropriate action and may deny service, or serve water or non-alcoholic drinks instead."
