Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) launched an exciting program called Incentives Awards by Norwegian Cruise Line today. This program gives companies and organizations the ability to purchase cruise awards for individuals that deserve special recognition. There are three pricing tiers in NCL's Incentives Awards program: Ultimate, Preferred and Value.
"A cruise is not only a memorable and enjoyable vacation, but it can also be a highly motivational incentive. With our Incentive Awards program, we now provide freedom and flexibility for businesses and organizations that want to reward their people with a cruise vacation, and at the same time the award recipient is given the freedom and flexibility to select the ship and sailing date that is most attractive to them," said Andy Stuart, executive vice president of global sales and passenger services. "Travel partners who supply their clients with our Incentive Awards will also be rewarded with a commission making the program a win-win for all involved."
After making the purchase of an award, a special cruise certificate
will be sent by NCL to the purchaser. The purchaser will then be able to give the certificate to the recipient, who can then call their travel agents (or NCL directly) to make a reservation. Recipients of the award will be able to purchase upgrades, beyond the value of their award. Each certificate will be valid for two people per stateroom, and the cruise fare, government taxes, port charges and gratuities will be included in their value. Certificates are valid for up to 18 months from their purchase.
