Helicopter Rides in Alaska

Where do you recommend someone take a helicopter ride in Alaska? Is there a particular city that you'd recommend to take one?

There are actually quite a few Alaskan shore excursions involving a helicopter ride. Among the more popular ones are the ones that fly to Mendenhall Glacier and the icefields near Juneau. A particularly popular excursion involves actually landing on a glacier and walking around for a little while. Please be aware though, that the pricing of such excursions has gone up quite a bit over the past few years...but they are fun!
