Crown Princess from NY - Anyone been?

Wanted to know if anyone has done the Crown Princess' Caribbean cruise from New York. I live in CT so it would be a pretty convenient way to cruise to the Caribbean. I've never been on a Princess cruise, so I have no idea what to expect.

FYI - I've been on 1 Carnival cruise.

Yes, I've been on the Crown Princess once out of New York. It was a very nice ship and I enjoyed the cruise quite a lot. However, I hope that you meant Caribbean Princess, as that is the ship that Princess is currently featuring from NY (I think).

Yes, that's correct - the Crown Princess used to sail from NY but now it's the Caribbean Princess. Caribbean Princess is a little older than the Crown (not much though).
