Panama Canal aboard the Norwegian Star

My hubby and I have booked a Panama Canal trip on the Norwegian Star. Is there anyone out there who has gone on this trip? Would love some feedback on the ship and cruise.

Hi there,

I've been on the Star twice - once in Mexico and once for the Panama Canal. I thought it was quite nice. Good price, good service, and a love the specialty restaurants on NCL. Haven't been on it though for 3 years, but I'd assume she's in similar condition now.

I also have been on Norwegian Star, not for a Panama Canal cruise though. Had a wonderful time. Lots of great specialty dining options! If you're a sushi fan, be sure to check out the sushi bar.

Hello Fellow Cruisers....
The Norwegian Star is coming to Port Canaveral Florida in October, 2010. We are thinking of booking the Star.
We are reading conflicting dates for the next dry dock.
We read on one of the boards that the dates were Jan 8th to Jan 28th for the next renovation. Can anyone confirm those dates? .
