Port Canaveral - Any Recommendations?

I'm going on a Royal Caribbean cruise that leaves from Port Canaveral and I wanted to know if you knew of any good hotels in the area to stay at before the cruise?

Hi there,

I'd love to provide you with some recommendations on hotels in the Port Canaveral area. However, I'd first like to know if you'd like to actually stay at a hotel by the cruise terminal in Port Canaveral or at a hotel in Orlando. I only ask because most people that take a cruise from Port Canaveral fly into Orlando and often spend a couple of nights before or after their cruise in Orlando, to enjoy the theme parks and attractions there.

No problem. Some good hotels choices in Orlando are:

Most of the Disney resorts (such as Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Polynesian, Disney's Grand Floridian and Disney's Old Key West Resort). Grand Floridian and Polynesian have excellent locations!

All of the Universal resorts, like the Hard Rock and Portofino (I stayed at the Portofino a few years ago and loved it!)

Peabody Orlando - luxurious!
