never been on HA

I have been on 7 cruises but never on Holland America. I would like opinions on the ships/service/food etc. As of now my best times have been with Princess and worst with Royal Carribean.

I've been on Holland America cruises and there are a few things I can definitely comment on. They have great food, service and food. Their ships are beautiful, very classy. You must dine in the Pinnacle Grill (their optional specialty restaurant) - it's worth the cover charge!

However, the guests onboard a Holland America ship is a definite 55 and over crowd. If you take a Caribbean cruise with them the crowd might be slightly younger, but Holland is definitely known for having older passengers onboard. Just something to keep in mind, in case that isn't something you're looking for.
