Transatlantic Question...

I know that Cunard is one of the leaders in transatlantic cruising and I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience on their ships, particularly Queen Mary 2 since that's the one I was looking at booking. I thought it might be really neat to sail across the Atlantic to visit England, which I've never been to before.

I don't have personal experience, but I have a friend that did that exact cruise. They said that there was a fairly older crowd, mainly that were Brits and Americans.

I sailed on Queen Mary 2 a couple of years ago. I thought that she was a beautiful ship, with top of the line food and service. There was definitely mostly senior citizens onboard, but it was quite pleasant and was a great way to get from Europe to the US (I did a Westbound cruise). One thing to know is that it can get quite windy in the middle of the Atlantic, so a sheltered balcony is a major plus!
