Default How's the Internet Speed on Carnival?

How fast are the computers in the internet cafe on Carnival's ships? Figured that someone would know on here. I'm going to need access to the internet while on my cruise and wanted to make sure that the speed is adequate.

The internet speed is nowhere near cable modem speed, but it's good enough to get basic stuff done (like checking e-mails and stuff like that).

Speed is not fast - be careful about learning how to sign off - on the Splendor had to type 1.1.1.1 - shutting down the computer didn't work - best to write your messages off line - then send them

Internet speed isn't the best on a cruise ship. But then again, isn't some internet better than none?!?!?

It's fast enough to get whatever the typical cruiser needs to get done while on vacation.

fgdwy - very true; users should sure that you know how to properly sign off, otherwise you might be charged for usage that you didn't really use. If you're not sure how to, there's usually a staff member (usually called an internet manager) that can show you.

It's good enough to e-mail and check out some web sites, but not too great. Sometimes I wonder if the speed is slow on purpose, so that they can make as much as possible since they usually bill per minute (unless you buy a package).
