Is it worth the flight to Australia?

Wanted to see if anyone that's been to Australia that took a flight from the US thought that the flight was worth it or not...I heard it's a 20+ hour flight from the east coast. Seems like a great country with lots to do but also seems FAR

I went there a few years ago. Flew from Florida. Yes, it was a looooong flight, but it was an amazing trip! We stayed there for 2 weeks (including a 10 night cruise) and really had a great time. The Great Barrier Reef was phenomenal.
